Myopia (Near Sightedness)

To see clearly, an image should focus directly on the retina  (the back of the eye). Myopia is when an image focuses in front of the retina, causing the vision to be blurry when looking at distant objects. This is corrected by glasses or contacts with a minus (-) prescription.
